You can transfer an eligible domain registered with HostoGlow to another registrar at any time.
1. Check that your domain is eligible for transfer
Your domain must not be subject to a transfer restriction, such as a transfer lock following a new registration or certain changes to the registrant contact information.
If a transfer restriction is active, you will need to wait until it expires before transferring the domain.
2. Unlock the domain
Go to Domains → My Domains, select the domain you want to transfer, and choose Registrar Lock.
Disable the registrar lock to allow the domain to be transferred.
For security, we recommend keeping Registrar Lock enabled unless you are actively transferring your domain.
3. Get your EPP Code
From the same domain management page, select Get EPP Code.
The EPP Code, also known as an authorization or transfer code, is used to authorize the transfer of your domain.
Keep this code private.
4. Start the transfer with your new registrar
Go to the registrar you want to transfer the domain to and start a domain transfer there.
When requested, provide the EPP Code obtained from HostoGlow and follow the new registrar's instructions to complete the transfer.
The receiving registrar initiates the transfer, so you do not need to place a transfer-out order with HostoGlow.
Important
Transferring a domain does not automatically transfer your website, email, DNS records, or other hosting services. Make sure any services associated with the domain are prepared before changing registrars.
